The surgical tape was removed today. This was my first glimpse at how things looked without stitches.
The next phase is "scar management". I'll wear a silicon patch (ReJuveness brand) for at least 12 hours per day for the next 2 months to reduce the redness and soften the skin.
P.S. I need to remember to shave before taking future pictures! ;-)
